Police name woman killed at Emerald Park, St Philip

Police have identified the deceased of this morning’s incident at # 347 Emerald Park West, St Philip as Daphne Thomas.

The 52-year-old was a prison officer.

Earlier today lawmen responded to a report about a domestic dispute between a man and a woman. Upon arrival, the lifeless body of a woman was found.

The police report said a man who allegedly ingested a poisonous substance is assisting with investigations.  He was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
