Man fatally shot at Newton Crescent

Police responded to a shooting incident early this morning at Newton Crescent, The Pine, St. Michael.

At around 1:45 a.m., they received a report detailing that a man had been shot while sitting on his front step.

Upon arrival, officers from the District ‘A’ Police Station discovered the unresponsive body of 38-year-old Ricardo Rohan Gill, who had sustained a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.

The Barbados Police Service is appealing to anyone with information about this incident to come forward. They can contact the Criminal Investigations Department at District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246, Police Emergency at 211, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477).
