Three gunmen rob St George bar

Three gun-toting thieves stole Christmas joy from a group of people who were attending karaoke at a St George bar on Sunday.

Not only did they rob a deejay, but they also took thousands of dollars from the operator of Cheryl’s Hide-A-Away, Shennell ‘Stress’ Burke, as well as her mother’s jewellery and several bottles of liquor from the Roach Village spot.

The matter has been reported to police.

Although the 2 a.m. incident happened fairly quickly, Burke says the memories of how her life flashed before her eyes continue to replay.
