The Most Honourable Anthony “Gabby” Carter was released on $10 000 bail when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes this morning.

“Gabby”, who was represented by King’s Counsel Andrew Pilgrim and attorney Lesley Cargill-Straker, was not required to plead to having sexual intercourse with a female, who was not a minor, between July 17 and September 8, 2023.
He was ordered to surrender his passport by 2 p.m. today and report to Hastings/Worthing police station every Tuesday and Saturday by 3 p.m.
He returns to court on July 14. (HLE)
