Police are investigating the unnatural death of a 67-year-old mechanic, Michael Eversley, who was found trapped under a vehicle at his residence in Charnocks #2, Christ Church earlier today.

Preliminary reports indicate that Eversley had been working on a vehicle that was given to him for repairs when the tragic incident occurred.

Around 4:40 p.m., a man walking in the area observed Eversley trapped under the vehicle and he immediately sought help. Emergency personnel from the Ambulance Service responded to the scene but found no signs of life.

A medical doctor later visited the location and officially pronounced Eversley dead.

A family member later identified the deceased.
