Section of Wickham Lewis Boardwalk closed for repairs

A section of the Wickham Lewis Boardwalk is currently closed to the public to facilitate repair works being carried out by Barbados Port Inc. (BPI).

The closure, which began at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, will remain in effect until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10.

The repair works are taking place along the eastern end of the boardwalk, specifically the stretch from the Chamberlain Bridge to the traffic lights at Wharf Road.

Members of the public are advised to exercise caution and avoid the area while work is ongoing.

Barbados Port Inc. has expressed thanks to the public for their understanding and cooperation during the maintenance period. (BGIS)
