The prestigious International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) World Cup 2025 will take place in Barbados from May 9-12 as part of the annual Roger Boyce Classic.

Now ranked among the top four bodybuilding events globally, this esteemed competition continues to elevate Barbados’ status in the international fitness and bodybuilding arena.

The announcement was made last Friday by Dr Rafael Santoja, president of the federation, during the official launch of the IFBB Roger Boyce Classic & IFBB World Cup at the Wildey Gymnasium.

Santoja expressed his excitement and gratitude, praising Barbados as a premier destination for fitness and bodybuilding. He acknowledged the island’s legacy of legendary champions and commended Roger Boyce for his dedication to the sport – both as an accomplished athlete and as a driving force behind this event. He also recognised the Barbados government and sporting authorities for their role in fostering the sport’s growth. (PR)
