Yesterday was ‘One Awesome Day’ at Farley Hill National Park, St Peter.

That’s where Gospelfest 2025 ended on a high note and thousands of believers were in attendance to worship and witness the great performances put on by the gospel artistes.

The venue opened around 11 a.m. and, shortly after, many families began filing in with their chairs and coolers packed with food and drinks.

Headliner Sherwin Gardner appeared on stage around 7:49 p.m.

The Trinidadian performed songs such as I Worship You, Over Me, Up From Here and his mega hit Find Me Here.

Positive performed Blessing After Blessing and Two Man Army.

Nigela sang Hear My Cry Oh Lord and It Is Raining.

Barbadian artistes also represented well. Promise, led by Sheldon Hope, sang

several classics such as I Command My Hands To Praise The Lord, Victory Is My Name and Who Holds Tomorrow.

Local group Gifted delivered fantastic renditions of I’d Rather Have Jesus, Fire Fire,

and See I Can See The Downfall Of Satan.

There were other performances by groups such as Haynesville Youth Group and Praise Academy Of Dance, who performed to What A Beautiful Name. (TG)
