Man injured in shooting incident at Bush Hall

Public Affairs and Communications Officer of the Barbados Police Service, Acting Inspector Ryan Brathwaite, provides an update into the fatal shooting that took place this evening at Civilian Road, Bush Hall, St Michael.

Update: The victim of today’s shooting incident in Bush Hall, St Michael, has died.

He had been at St Hill Funeral Home on Bush Hall Main Road, viewing the body of his brother who is scheduled to be buried on Friday, when gunfire erupted.

Reports indicate the man was shot multiple times just as he was getting into a vehicle. He later succumbed to his injuries.

His death marks the 27th homicide for the year.
