Murder accused remanded to Dodds

Murder accused Evan Raheem Andre Jordan was remanded to Dodds Prison when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1 on Monday.

He was not required to plead to the charge of murder of Anderson Calderon on June 16, 2025 when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes.

He was remanded to return on August 11, 2025.

Calderon, 39, formerly of North Close, Wildey, was shot and killed by a masked gunman outside Ram’s Chill Shop at Skeete’s Road, The Ivy, St Michael.

As he being taken away in handcuffs, Jordan said: “They got me charged wrongfully, you could put it on the media. They got me charged wrongfully for murder.” (SAT)
