The National Petroleum Corporation has confirmed that the current disruption of natural gas services
was caused by a valve which malfunctioned in the closed position.

This is according to Chief of Operations Andrea Burnett-Edward. This issue has resulted in the loss of service to some customers and businesses.

It is not a gas leak and the technicians are currently working to rectify the issue. (SG)
