Mimosa party in Pool Woods

Heavy rains earlier today transformed the usually picturesque Pool Woods in St John, the venue for the breakfast party Mimosa, into a wide expanse of muddy areas.

The event, dubbed – Freedom, An Experience to be You – which started as early as 4 a.m. saw patrons strolling in ready to have a good time and sample the delights on offer, while dancing the morning away to their favourite Crop Over tunes.

However, the rains “muddied” up some of their plans as the soaked grounds left a mess all around, making it challenging for many to navigate.

Still, the muddy conditions did not stop the party, nor did they deter partygoers from jamming and having a good time, even in the rain.

Some even resorted to removing their shoes to avoid slippage and to just “free up” and have a good time.

The party, which went past 11 a.m. had artistes including Leadpipe & Saddis, Brucelee Almightee, Mole and Grateful Co hitting the stage entertaining the crowd for the sold out event. (CM)
