Jenna Thompson, sister of murdered Coast Guard officer David Thompson, is partially satisfied with the sentence handed down on Wednesday to the three men who killed him.

She, along with a few family members, were present throughout the trial, and as they returned on Wednesday to hear the sentences, they were still in tears.
Speaking outside Supreme Court No. 2A afterwards, Thompson had mixed emotions.
“I appreciate the fact that justice was done, but I think that there’s needs to be a stiffer sentence. I guess, yes, the men were on remand and you have to consider those things, but . . . you burn a whole man alive in a car.” (SD)
