Accused: I’m not the murderer

He was rolling a joint when he heard loud explosions, said murder accused Basil Alphonso Branch.

Shortly after, he heard another set of explosions and he left the Westbury Road area.

“I’m not the person who murdered Tre Murray,” he said while giving his defence yesterday when the trial resumed in the No. 2A Supreme Court.

Branch, of Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael, is accused of murdering Tre Murray on June 7, 2022. He opted to take the witness stand.
