Barbados is again under a flash-flood warning as conditions remain unstable across the country.

The Barbados Meteorological Services upgraded the bulletin from a watch to a warning around 9:30 a.m. Monday and said heavy to intense showers were likely throughout the day.

Over nine inches of rainfall were received in the northern and central parishes of the island, with increasing accumulations in the eastern parishes.

This activity is expected to continue today and into tonight, with generally wet conditions expected throughout the week.

A flash-flood warning is issued when rapid flooding due to heavy or excessive rainfall is occurring or imminent (generally within two hours) and can be issued up to six hours in advance. This warning will be updated at 6 p.m. Monday, 17th November 2025, or sooner if conditions warrant. (PR/SAT)
