Police have confirmed that the body discovered early Monday morning along Lower Estate Road, St. George, is that of 58-year-old Terry Kellman.

He was a resident of the same district, who was swept away by floodwaters during Sunday night’s severe weather.

Kellman was reported missing around 8:43 p.m. on November 16 after attempting to cross Lower Estate Road amid heavy runoff. According to investigators, he lost his footing in the swift-moving water and was carried downstream.

Emergency services conducted an overnight search, and at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Monday, Kellman’s body was found in a bushy area west of where he was last seen.

A medical doctor later pronounced death at the scene.

Police say investigations are ongoing and are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the District ‘B’ Police Station at 430-7625 or 437-4311.
