Second death from Weston shooting

A second person who was involved in a shooting incident at Weston, St James has reportedly died.

The Nation has been reliably informed that the young man passed away yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The incident occurred on November 8 around 1:30 a.m.

According to police reports, a group of people were socialising in the area of a business, when a man who entered his vehicle to leave, was confronted by three armed masked assailants.

They discharged their firearms, he in turn drew his licensed firearm and also discharged a number of gunshots, injuring two of the assailants. One of them succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was identified by a relative as Doniko Avery Gaskin, 26 years, of The Garden, St James. (Nation News)
