Fogging Schedule: July 6 to 10

Several districts in Christ Church will be fogged when the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Vector Control Unit carries out its mosquito reduction exercise next week.

The team will begin on Monday, July 6, in Newton Terrace “A” Nos.1 to 11, King’s Court Nos.1 to 3, Ashby Land, Ashby Land Nos.1 to 4, Evelyn Land, Durants Development Nos.1, 1A, and 3, Evergreen Road, Windy Ridge, Sealy Land, and surrounding areas.

The following day, Tuesday, July 7, the unit will spray Welches No.2, Welches No.1, Glen Close, Canevale Hill, Canevale Crescent Nos.1 to 6, Canevale Link Road, Hythe Gardens 1st to 3rd Avenues, Maxwell Park Drive, Maxwell Park Avenue, Fairmax Avenue, Ridge Close, Ridge Road, Cliff Close, Fairholme Gardens 1st and 2nd Avenues, Fairholme Gardens, and environs.

On Wednesday, July 8, the following areas will be sprayed: Maxwell Coast Road, 2nd Avenue Maxwell Coast Road, Deal Gardens B and A, 1st Avenue Dover Gardens, Dover Road, Headley Road, Dover Terrace, Dover 1st to 3rd Avenues, Moravian Gardens, Mahogany Court, Worthing Tenantry, Hilton Road, Hilton Terrace, Layne’s Road, Maxwell Gardens, and Maxwell Terrace 1st to 6th Avenues.

Then on Thursday, July 9, the team will turn its attention to Gall Hill, Lower Crescent, Milton Lane, Byron Lane, Launceston Lane, Hillside, Canevale Tenantry, Montrose Road, Montrose Gardens A and B, 4th Avenue Briar Hall, Butler’s Road, Water Street, Best Road B, C and E, Plumgrove No.1, Plumgrove Nos.1A, 1B, 1C and 1D, Wilson Village, Lodge Road, Lodge Road B, and neighbouring districts.

The fogging exercise will conclude for the week on Friday, July 10, in the following communities: Wotton Road inclusive of Wotton No.1, Cherry Wood Circle, 1st to 3rd Avenues Clearview Drive, Venus Drive, and Wotton Housing Area, Turquoise Road, Agate Road, No.1 Silver Hill Development, Silver Hill B, Silver Hill A, Smith Terrace, Silver Hill Road, Parish Land, and No.15 Link Road.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter. Children should not be allowed to play in the fog.

Members of the public are advised that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the Unit’s control. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to communities affected in the soonest possible time.
