Margaret Knight, the mother of former Prime Minister David Thompson, passed away early yesterday morning. She was 96.
She was also an author and published From London To Ilaro Court in 2014, about her son’s political life.
In 2022, she wrote and published her seventh book at the age of 92, an autobiography of her life from childhood to present day aptly called The Unstoppable Molly Knight.
The book also detailed her life after she and her sister, Donna, were sent off to boarding school in England where she also resided for many years, and where she met and married the father of her four children, Charles Thompson.
