SHAE MARTIN and Amanda Haywood became the new and undisputed king and queen of junior badminton when the curtain came down on the Barbados Badminton Association’s 2015 Junior National Championships at the Wildey Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.
They also have the distinction of being double triple crown champions.
Martin secured all six wins across the Under-17 and Under-19 divisions as he dominated from the start of the proceedings until the end. His toughest match came against his doubles partner Keshem Moore as he won 15-21, 21-13, 21-15 after dropping the first game.
