Songs of praise

THE NOBLE TASK of building a church has now made the Church of God Reformation Movement an annual forum for the best in new and veteran musical talent.

In their second concert, It’s A New Season, last Saturday night, the movement featured an outstanding mix of the iconic, the experienced, the trendy and the new in a continuing effort to spread the Word and complete the Church of God Silver Sands building in Christ Church.

And while the structure is at the roofing stage, the concerts have been figuratively tearing the roof off the Frank Collymore Hall with infectious rhythms and voices.

One of the voices that lingered in the ear Saturday was that of Asha Ward, who opened with a passionate interpretation of Forever Jones’ He Wants It All and Chris Tomlin’s Indescribable. (Coastline Communication)
