Collect the $11 million in overdue rent or prepare to send home some staff.
That was the word to the management of the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) from Minister of International Business, Industry, Commerce and Small Business Development, Donville Inniss as he responded to criticism of Government’s crackdown on rent defaulters in its industrial estates.
“And I would advise those who have not been paying their rent to make their way to the office of the BIDC and make arrangements to settle,” he added.
