King is now a victory away from making his second appearance in the main draw of a grand slam tournament.
King advanced to the final round of qualifying earlier today, defeating Spaniard Adrian Menéndez-Maceiras in straight sets 6-1,6-4 at Flushing Meadows, New York City. (AGB)
