BARBADOS SENIOR men’s football team redeemed themselves and moved on to the next round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers after they dismissed the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) 4-0 yesterday in St Thomas.

First-half goals by Raheim Sargeant (5th) and Jamal Chandler (25th) gave Barbados some comfort and confidence early on but two fantastic goals by forwards Mario Harte in the 78th minute and substitute Jabarry “Papi” Chandler in the 90th minute cemented Barbados place into the next round where they will face Aruba in June.
