THERE’S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

That’s the assurance from Hanschell Inniss Limited minutes ago, local agents and distributors of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, in response to the recall of about 6.5 million boxes of the popular food, because some of the boxes contain small pieces of metal.

Chris Donawa, Hanschell Inniss’ manager retail, sales and marketing division confirmed that none of the contaminated boxes distributed by Kraft Foods Group Inc. had arrived in Barbados.

“We have not had any of those particular product,” Donawa told the NATION Online, adding that the company’s supplier in the United States had also confirmed that the re-called product had not been shipped to Barbados.

Donawa also said the information has been shared with Government’s Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

The boxes recalled have “best when used by” dates ranging from September 18, 2015 through October 11, 2015 and are marked with the code “C2”. (TS)
