BODYBUILDING LEGEND Dexter “The Blade” Jackson is seeking to slice another record this weekend in Columbus, Ohio, when he steps on stage at the Arnold Classic, the second biggest contest in the sport.
Jackson, who gave an exhibition in Barbados last October at the Darcy Beckles Invitational Classic, is seeking to become the first man to win the Arnold five times.
The 45-year-old Jackson told the MIDWEEK NATION last year that he planned to stay in the sport for quite some time as he thinks he will still be a major force in the sport’s ultimate event, the Mr Olympia, for the next few years.
“I am not going to be walking away from the sport anytime soon as I will always be in the top ten. I can’t see myself ever being out of the top ten at the Olympia. Anytime I don’t make the top six of the Olympia I will retire, but I don’t see myself out of the top six, at least not this year,” he said.
