St Michael men charged with multiple offences

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged a number of St Michael men in connection with a December 7, 2014 shooting incident at The Ivy in the same parish.

Four of them were jointly charged with conspiracy to endanger the life of a person.

They are Romario Akeem Phillips, 22, of 10th Avenue New Orleans;  Marvin Marcus Victor, 28, of 4th Avenue Pickwick Gap; Akem Jabarry Leon, 22,  of 3rd Avenue Manning’s Land and  Damien Francisco Padmore, 34, #2 Skeete’s Road, The Ivy, all in St Michael.

Phillips and Victor were also jointly charged with two counts of unlawful possession of firearm.                                                     

In addition, Phillips was arrested and charged with unlawful use of firearm and criminal damage.

Victor faces a separate charge of unlawful possession of firearm.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Akeem Teo Shorey, 23, of 3rd Avenue, Parris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael, was arrested and charged with the offence of possession of a firearm.                 

Rehquino Samkeh Barker, 23, of Pickwick Gap, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of firearm.

In an unrelated matter, Phillips and Shorey were charged with two counts of robbery which occurred December 7, 2014. They are accused of robbing a man and woman of their cell phones, jewellery and other items.

Phillips and Shorey have also been charged in the December 7 shooting death of Albert Boyce. (PR/NB)
