FOR THE SECOND TIME this WICB Professional Cricket League season, Raymon Reifer has broken Barbadian hearts.

Today, Barbadian Reifer struck the winning runs – six over midwicket – to steer Guyana Jaguars to 335 for six.

With Guyana needing 291 more runs to win after The Pride declared on 241 for six yesterday, Reifer stroked an unbeaten 41 off 89 balls.

However, the damage had already been done by Test batsmen Narsingh Deonarine (90) and Shivnarine Chanderpaul (64), both of whom fell cheaply in the first innings.

Reifer also punished the Pride last month in the NAGICO Super50 Competition, scoring 84 not out.

Pride captain Kraigg Brathwaite was named man of the match after scoring a century in both innings.

Summarised scores:

Barbados Pride 312 and 241-6 dec’d. Guyana Jaguars 221 and 335-6 (Narsingh Deonarine 90, Shivnarine Chanderpaul 64, Rajindra Chandrika 60, Raymon Reifer 41 n.o., Anthony Bramble 27 n.o., Leon Johnson 14, Christopher Barnwell 12; Ashley Nurse 2-81, Jomel Warrican 2-81). Guyana Jaguars won by four wickets.
