THE BARBADOS PORT is continuing its efforts to keep the country free of contraband.

To that end, just over 20 officers from the Port and partner agencies including Customs, Coast Guard, Police and Defence Force are currently engaged in a one-week border security workshop at the Port. The focus is on container security.

It is the first workshop of this kind, and is being facilitated by the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission of the Organisation of American States.  (YB)
