Two sent to Dodds after guilty pleas

TWO CHRIST CHURCH men have begun serving prison terms at HMP Dodds after pleading guilty to a number of charges including robbery and burglary in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today.

Hillary Decoursey Williams, 34, of Thyme Bottom was charged with theft and four counts of robbery. On each charge of robbery, he was sentenced to two years in prison to run concurrently.  On the charge of theft, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison to run consecutively.

Meanwhile, David Obrian Best, 43, of Thornbury Hill was charged with offensive behaviour and two counts of burglary. On each charge of burglary, he was sentenced to two years in prison to run concurrently.  On the charge of offensive behaviour, he was sentenced to nine months in prison which will run concurrently.
