British pop star Sir Cliff Richard took the spotlight at the Barbados Yacht Club, at last weekend’s Art and Wine Affair, a fundraiser for the Queen’s College’s multipurpose sports complex.
British patrons far outnumbered the QC “girls”, but old scholars from the school’s Constitution Road days were there supporting the event.
It was billed Art And Wine Affair With Sir Cliff Richard, with art by some of Barbados’ best known artists on auction and the Vida Nova wines made from grape grown in the pop legend’s own vineyard making their Barbados debut.
