A loving man is how many residents in the small St John village of Newcastle are today remembering Colin Worrell.

The quaint village was sent into a state of shock yesterday as news of Worrell’s untimely death spread.

Uncle Frank to many, Worrell was on his routine morning exercise along Bath Beach in the same parish when he suffered suspected a heart attack.

Police reports indicated that  the body of the 49-year-old shop assistant was discovered after 8:30 a.m. yesterday.

His mother Dorothy, who was inconsolable as family members gathered at her home to lend support, told the MIDWEEK NATION Worrell was the sweetest son any mother could ever ask for. (SDB Media)
