Missing at sea

A St James family is today hopeful that missing fisherman Anthony Griffith will return to them safely.

Griffith was last seen around 5 a.m. on Saturday when he left his Crusher Site Road, Prospect, St James home to go fishing at Oistins.

Yesterday evening, after no word of his whereabouts, close family and friends gathered at his home to console each other and pray for his safe return.

His sister Linda Brome told the DAILY NATION that Griffith, 58, the eldest of nine children and only male, was very passionate about fishing. In fact, everything about the sea he loved and she was highly optimistic he would return to once again enjoy that passion.
