Gaskin to appear in court on Monday

THE MAN WHO was allegedly shot by police on Thursday has been arrested and charged with a number of offences.

Police say 23-year-old Rico Gaskin of Lowthers Hill, St Patricks, Christ Church has been charged with two counts of endangering life, one count of criminal damage and two counts of assault.

He is accused of shooting at two men who were in a car at Cavans Lane, Bridgetown, in November 2014, causing damage to the car.

Gaskin is also accused of assaulting two police officers on January 8, 2015 whilst at Farnum’s Land, Chapman Lane, St Michael.

He is expected to appear at the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday January 12, 2015. (PR/NB)
