Nigerian students staying at Casa Grande Hotel were forced to fetch water from the swimming pool on Wednesday morning in order to take a bath.

A WEEKEND NATION team captured the students, armed with buckets, scooping water out of the pool around 8 a.m. as they got ready for orientation at the Barbados Community College.

Spokesman Samson Ukwedojor said it was the fourth time since their almost two-week stay at the hotel that they had encountered low water pressure and had to utilise water from the hotel’s pool.

Calling the situation unacceptable, he said this could not continue after they enrolled at the Barbados Community College. (MB) (Picture by Nigel Browne.)
