Student on gun and drug charges

CHARGES INVOLVING A gun, ammunition and weed brought a 20-year-old student before the District “A” Criminal Court yesterday.

Novon Neuo Neblett, of Lower Estate, St George, was charged with trafficking in cannabis, having it in his possession, and intending to supply it last Monday, January 5, 2015.

He was also charged with having in his possession a firearm without the requisite licence, and having one round of ammunition on the same day.

Neblett, who was remanded, is represented by attorneys Desmond Sands and his son Dominic Sands. (Coastline Communication)
