Wanted man Lawrence remanded

WANTED MAN Leon Garfield Lawrence was formally charged in the District “A” Criminal Court this evening after surrendering himself to police on Monday.

Lawrence, accompanied by his attorney Andrew Pilgrim QC, was not required to plead to the indictable charges of causing serious bodily harm to Marlon Brathwaite with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him last December 31, and to using a firearm to cause serious bodily harm to Brathwaite on the same day.

Lawrence, 25, of Block 10 D, Bonnetts Housing Area, Brittons Hill, St Michael, was remanded until February 3. (Coastline Communication)
