Police in the Southern Division are investigating the unnatural death of 29-year-old Katani Jamani Emmanuel Callender alias “Kay Kay” or “Snoop” of Sunny Side Court, Deacons Farm, St Michael.
He died around 8:33 last night at Ruby Tenantry, St Philip.
Callender was staying at a friend in St Philip, and at the time of the incident, he was sitting in a chair just outside of the house when loud and sudden explosions were heard.
His body was then discovered by residents of the household. Ambulance personnel were summoned and pronounced him dead. Police investigations are continuing.
