Charity event raises over £100 000

Media mogul and X Factor producer Simon Cowell lent his famous face and name to a worthy cause Sunday night.

At a charity event held at Holders House (family residence of the famous Kidds) in St James, the first annual fundraiser for K9 Friends, which Simon works with, raised over £100 000 (about BDS$304 000).

With drinks and canapés, the medium-sized crowd, led by auctioneer Alex Jordan, bid on items such as art, memorabilia and trips.
