Best in for third trial match

Out of favour Barbados and West Indies fast bowler Tino Best will make his first appearance today in the trial matches of the Barbados Pride franchise in preparation for next month’s NAGICO Super50 Cup in Trinidad and Tobago.

Best, who missed the first two trial matches at St Catherine Club, has been named in Ashley Nurse’s team, which will again oppose Kevin Stoute’s side in the third and penultimate trial at the Wanderers Club, Dayrells Road.

Play starts at 9:30 a.m.

Also in Nurse’s team is forgotten fast bowler Fidel Edwards, who played in the first trial but missed the second game.
