I doan know if this sort o’ thing happens tuh you or if it is just me, but I am always observing people and I am amazed at how the more ya seem tuh try tuh make a change in some things or even (so you think) try tuh make things better, it seems like duh remaining the same or even getting worse.
Now this is what I mean: It would seem like the more ya tell young girls tuh value demselves, wait and doan rush in tuh any kinda deep relationships, the more duh getting involved. It would seem like although some parents trying duh best tuh steer duh young girl children away from a certain type o’ man or boy, the more duh bong-ing and gine ’long and getting involved wid dem as if duh ain’t hearing or duh deaf.
It would seem like some married men got a serious weakness, or should I say sickness, fuh young, impressionable girls. Even though duh got a nice wife and family, duh cahn seem tuh stop running after li’l girls. And then it would seem dat some o’ these li’l girls still suh naïve dat duh does believe evahthing these li-ed married men, or should I say males, tell dem ’bout how duh gine leave their wives fuh dem.
Another thing ’bout some young girls: It would seem as if they believe dat having sex and getting children is the in-thing, the way tuh go and dem ain’t tuh get left out so dem getting pregnant too.
Then when duh get the first one, it like it doan be enough tuh wake up some o’ dem, so duh does go back and get another one. Then when you see dem again, they would have one child up in duh hand, pon duh hip, while holding the other one hand and looking like the woman pon the hospital.
It would seem like the more ya hear ’bout the police catching people coming in tuh the island wid drugs, the more determine the drug people becoming and finding innovative ways tuh get duh hands pon the marijuana.
Duh planting all about, even indoors; duh becoming drug farmers. You would think dat in these hard economic times when food is so flipping expensive, they would use duh green thumbs and duh greenhouse skills tuh plant good food tuh feed duh families. But no! Duh planting herb tuh destroy duh very families duh say duh supporting, selling the drugs.
Another thing is this: The more people talk and complain ’bout the loud music or the loud and obnoxious horns, all of a sudden the young fellas decide dat something got tuh be wrong wid these complainers so now duh gone and get these motor cycles dat does keep so much noise, duh does frighten the daylight outta ya when duh fly past.
And, look, it look like the more the young fellas get kill out, the more others running tuh get involved and hang out wid the same bad boys, like duh bewitch or something. But you see me, I does watch all o’ dem and does eventually come tuh one conclusion. Duh gine do and do till duh kill out one another like in dem old cowboy pictures where the feuding gangs does stand up in a line facing one another and then start shooting. So, evahbody does dead.
And finally, it would seem tuh me dat every young boy or man who get shoot down in the streets does be a real nice fella, who used tuh move real cool and nevah used tuh get in tuh nutten nor interfere wid nuhbody, but he did like a lot o’ friends and partying.
