Indy 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay is expecting his first competitive race in Barbados to be fast and furious.

“I’ll be focused on winning. It’s an honour to represent America, IndyCar and the Indy 500 in such a prestigious event,” said Hunter-Reay who will take part in the annual Race Of Champions (ROC) at Bushy Park on December 13-14.

Hunter-Reay, who took part in the event in 2012 when it was held in Thailand, said he was absolutely thrilled to be returning to the Race Of Champions.

“My first ROC in Bangkok was an amazing experience, going head-to-head with some of the best drivers from every different motorsport discipline from around the world,” he said.

“Experience really helps with the short amount of seat time in each of the different types of ROC race cars.”
