GEORGETOWN, Guyana – Barbados Pride defeated Guyana Jaguars by two runs on the final day of their third round WICB Professional Cricket League match today.

It was an improbable win for the Pride who bowled out Guyana for 66 in their second innings at the National Stadium, Providence here today.

Guyana needed 69 to win, but were reduced to 12 for four and then bundled out short of the target. Dwayne Smith took five wickets for 17 runs.

Earlier, Ryan Hinds scored an important 68 as Barbados were bowled out for 228. It proved enough, extending the lead which was a mere 54 runs at stumps.
