Two medals in open water swim

Barbados gained a gold and a bronze in the CARIFTA Aquatics 5K Open Water Championships today at Carlisle Bay.

From a pool of 26 athletes, Diego Dulieu swam his way to gold in the 13-15 age group while Eric Lashley made a bronze medal finish in the 15-17 boys’ division. 

Danielle Clarke was the first Barbadian female home when she placed seventh in the 15-18 female category. (RG)
