BWU’s says

THE BARBADOS WORKERS’ UNION’S (BWU) executive council is fully behind workers at Precision Packaging Inc. who have been off the job for three days, crippling the company’s operations.

Moreover, in a strongly-worded statement issued yesterday, new union boss Toni Moore made it clear the union was going to aggressively defend the workers’ rights on the matter.

The BWU pointed out that it had “been in touch” with chairman of Goddard Enterprises, Charles Herbert, “in an effort to moderate the industrial action” which the union’s executive council was taking against Precision Packaging Inc., of Lower Estate, St Michael.

Precision Packaging Inc. employs about 50 workers.
