ALMA PARRIS MEMORIAL Secondary School is without its full complement of teachers for the second time this week.

More than half of the 11 teachers represented by the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) are locked in a meeting with the executive of the union and officials from the Ministry of Education at the ministry.

Today’s talks follow a two-hour meeting at the union on Wednesday morning, during which members asked for an urgent meeting with the ministry to air their protracted grievances between them and principal Valdez Francis. (YB)
