Traffic changes for Lighting Ceremony

The public are asked to note the following regulations which will be in place in Bridgetown, Barbados, for tomorrow’s Lighting Ceremony:

(a)   No person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on the roads specified except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers.

 Trafalgar Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4 p.m. until completion of the celebration.

(b) Vehicles travelling along Broad Street will turn left onto High Street.

(c) Vehicles travelling along Fairchild Street will not be allowed to turn left nor right onto Bridge Street (Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge). From 4 p.m., vehicular traffic will flow in a southerly direction from its junction with St Michael’s Row. (PR)
