THREE Barbadians are part of the new Cricket West Indies (CWI) coaching team spearheaded by former A team coach Floyd Reifer.

Reifer, a former West Indies captain, takes over as head coach with Corey Collymore as bowling coach while Roderick Estwick returns to the fold as one of the assistant coaches.

His first assignment will be the Tri-Nations One-Day Series in Ireland where the West Indies will play two matches against their hosts and Bangladesh from May 5 to 17 when the final will be held.

The three men along with new fielding coach, ex-Guyana fast bowler Rayon Griffith, will form the critical backroom staff for the prestigious World Cup slated for England and Wales in May and June. (MK)
