THE FIRST INTAKE of students for the Centre Interministeriel de Formation Anti-Drogue(CIFAD) Crime Analysis course have successfully completed their training.

Close to 20 soldiers, police, immigration and customs officers from five islands across the region graduated from the one-week course at the Paragon, Christ Church-based Regional Security System (RSS) earlier today.

The main objective of the training was to enable participants to master the techniques of phone call analysis.

Head of the RSS, Grantley Watson, encouraged the officers to share the information they learnt with their peers, and not to keep it to themselves. They were also urged to create a network with their respective colleagues in the region. (YB)
