Big LIME drive

LIME is in full upgrade mode, with customers set to benefit from improved services across all of its telecoms platforms in the coming weeks.

And with “high customer demand” influencing the expansion of the company’s new fibre network, LIME is also providing jobs for 500 “individual contractors”.

LIME Barbados chief executive officer Oliver Chatten and head of marketing and corporate communications Rachel Pilgrim announced the major initiatives last night at the company’s Windsor Lodge, St Michael headquarters.

It is all part of the new Upgrade LIME Barbados project that will be undertaken over the next six months to “win back the hearts and minds of our customers, deliver on our promises and meet customer expectations”.

Addressing an audience that included staff, customers and journalists, Chatten said the overall aim was “maintaining our position as the No. 1 telecoms provider in Barbados as we seek to grow our broadband and TV customers through the strength of our new fibre optic network.
